Went out Saturday on a practice run,for next
weekFishing Tournament.I
was on Dan Websters new 42 Ft. boat "Two Mary`s" also on board were Bob
Watson and First Mate Tresannelli.
We were fishing off of Hoopers Is.Light and I was luckie enough to land
this Stripper..aka. Rock Fish It was 43 1/2 long, and weighed 37lbs

OCEAN PRINCESS TOG and SEA BASS FISHING TRIP
Left the dock at 7:30AM
Returned to the dock at 6:30 P.M.
We fished 36 miles out, 3 1/2 hour trip. When we arrived we were fishing
150 ft down, for Tog and Sea Bass, but we had a hard time getting thru the
Blues, they were eating as you can see in the photo of Bob Shelton.
The Black Sea Bass that Chuck (The pool winner) caught was 24in

caught his biggest Rockfish ever last Thurs. This was also my father Larry Hyre
(top middle), his friend Pete Spence (top left), and Mark Cumberpatch's (lower
right) first trophy Rock! The fish were feeding on white, green, on top, and
