January’s meeting was called to order 7:00 31 members in attendance
Elks Club Notice
The Elks Club has informed us that Thursday night beer is no longer $2. Beers are back to their original pricing
The treasurer’s report was given, there are (CTTM) dollars in our account.
Harry Miller and Tom Wilkison will head up our Flea Market. It is scheduled for February 24th. Rental cost for tables is $30. We are looking for donations for our club table.
The concrete plant is not pouring concrete at this time. As of now we have 53 units ready to deploy.
Our guest speaker in January was Greg Foxwell of Mid-Shore Electronics. Among other things, Greg discussed the importance of communications and boat safety. He highlighted VHF-DSC functions of your marine radios. Greg provided us with a flyer which puts this information at your finger tips. I have attached the flyer to this email.
February’s speaker will be Captain Charlie Schneider. Captain Charlie will be discussing the up coming season.

Club Fishing Trips
We are looking for someone that can schedule and organize club fishing trips, charters, sea bass trips, flounder trips, etc. Next meeting we can discuss what the club can do to entice families to take advantage of the opportunity for a bunch of us to fish together
Our next luncheon will be 12 noon March 1st at Katie Mae’s. Katie Mae’s is located at 503 Poplar St. near High St. in Cambridge.
